Dataset Type Code

A code that describe the type of dataset; raw / unprocessed, processed, or summarized, are typical code values and an agency or industry group may define its controlled vocabulary the types of datasets. A Dataset is a large collection of related sets of information that is composed of separate elements but can be manipulated as a unit by a computer. For example, in agricultural, this can be dataset collected off of farm implements (machinery) such as planters, crop protection applicators, or harvesters.
