Government Issued Party Identifier

An identifier for an entity (aka business) that has been created by a government agency. An example is SAM.gov Unique Entity Identifier, where an Entity refers to prime contractors, organizations or individuals applying for assistance awards, those receiving loans, sole proprietors, corporations, partnerships, and any Federal Government agencies desiring to do business with the government.
