UEI

The UEI is a 12-character alphanumeric code issued by the U.S. government. Its purpose is to uniquely identify businesses and organizations that want to do business with the U.S. federal government. The UEI officially replaced the 9-digit DUNS Number as the government’s standard entity identifier on April 4, 2022.
